We are looking for a content writer to work with us as a contractor. This person will work collaboratively with the Associate Director of Student Engagement and Engagement team to write student facing content including text message plans, student engagement newsletters and other applicable content.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong writer to gain experience within the edtech space in an internal marketing role. This position will be about 15-20 hours per week for about 6 months (with a possibility of extension). This role will pay $20/hour. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Write text based messages aimed at retaining students within our partner schools
  • Write and send compelling emails based on content set by the the Engagement team
  • Create collateral for engagement kits to send to university admins
  • Provide input to written communications to schools and students
  • Identify and create student resources that will educate and support students’ usage of the product suite.

  • You have demonstrated experience writing short and long form content
  • You have a strong attention to detail
  • You are comfortable working with a collaborative team
  • You are able to adapt your writing to different audiences
  • You have strong organizational and time management skills
  • You are able to adhere to deadlines required
  • You understand the importance of creating strong content to help students see the value of the resources they have available to them
  • You have an interest in helping non traditional students achieve their long term goals to be successful in college
